About Studio MAI
Studio MAI London is a design studio dedicated to refining bedrooms for private homes and boutique hospitality spaces.
The studio approaches interiors through observation, spatial editing, and carefully curated objects — creating rooms that feel calm, balanced, and quietly memorable.
Rather than introducing excess, the work focuses on proportion, atmosphere, and the subtle shifts that transform how a space is experienced.
Studio Philosophy
Mai believes interiors rarely need more objects — they need clarity.
By refining what already exists and introducing only what strengthens the atmosphere of the room, a space can feel calmer, more intentional, and deeply personal.
The aim is not decoration, but transformation — the subtle shift in how a room feels.
The Founder
Studio MAI was founded by Patcharakan Mai Greener, whose design perspective is shaped by a background spanning fashion, styling, and interior design.
Mai first studied Fashion Design in Bangkok, before continuing her education in London with a Foundation Degree in Fashion Styling and Photography at London College of Fashion. She later pursued a Master’s degree in Interior Design Practice Management through the National Design Academy in collaboration with De Montfort University.
During this time, Mai also worked in the beauty industry while raising her family — an experience that deepened her understanding of personal space, daily rituals, and environments that support wellbeing.
This cross-disciplinary path informs the studio’s approach today, bringing sensitivity to material, proportion, and atmosphere into the design of interior spaces.
Mai founded Studio MAI London to create interiors that feel calm, refined, and quietly transformative.
"I believe the most powerful interiors are not created by adding more, but by refining what already exists."
